 These beautiful Zulu Hats have a frame of handwoven grasses which are covered with a particular fabric that is woven with cotton thread to create the design. Every hat is unique in that each artist weaves her own design.
The hats measure 12 inches( 30 cms ) + - at the widest part. They can be displayed on a wall or a stand as part of a themed interior.
A lot of the young Zulu women wear them as a fashion statement, some even have the pure white ones as part of a wedding ensemble.
